I have officially joined the ranks of those who love fishing! Check out the pic below and it will probably be apparent as to why.
The large fish at the top of the picture is a Horse-Eyed Jack and weighs about 7lbs. I snagged this guy on my pole, but I don't have the skills necessary to land a fish this big just yet. I quickly handed the pole over to Vic and watched the struggle ensue. This guy fought hard and Vic spent a good 10 minutes wearing him out before finally winning the fight and bringing him ashore.
The rest of the fish are all varieties of Snapper and include Red, Yellow Tail and Mutton.
Hey we are PCSing to Gitmo next summer, was there a long housing wait for your family?
ReplyDeleteWhen my husband first got the job here, we were told that it could be 6 months waiting. We only waited three weeks. I have heard the same story from many other people as well. I think housing gives people a worst case scenario, but seem to be able to accommodate folks sooner than expected. I truly hope that you end up with the same experience!

Wow, I am impressed! I have never went fishing before but you make it sound fun. The best part is, you know how to cook them! I am not a big fish eater but I bet yours is wonderful! Miss you! Glad you guys are having fun together and that Vic has time to do what he loves!
